Alright, so after consideration (but not careful consideration, cause what about this is even remotely careful?), I've decided to post updates on Fridays. Since this will be my very first update, and it's Friday, let's get this party started.
This it the Prologue to the entire story. It will feel a little off as you read it, and that's intentional. The rest of the story should be generally less cagey. Well, starting around Chapter 3 anyway. Before that, a certain amount of caginess is necessary to set up reveals for later.
So anyway, without further ado, I present to you The Prologue.
